Mickey Mouse Brings Disney Magic To New York City

Happy Birthday, Mickey! James was the Director of Photography and VFX artist for this video starring Mickey Mouse! It promotes a really cool interactive jumbo-tron in Times Square. Be sure to watch to the end for an explosive finale in the Magic Kingdom! James shot on the new RED Epic camera, and used interactive magic lighting both in Times Square and Disney World. Directed by Matt Wyatt. Additional VFX by David Wolgemuth and Whitfield Henry. Thanks to everyone at DigiSynd and Disney Parks!

Winnie The Pooh “It’s Gonna Be Great”

This is the last video Dave directed for Disney, which promotes the new Winnie The Pooh movie! Dave, along with fellow DigiSynd employees, made a bunch of watercolor paintings, which were scanned into the computer. Dave arranged them in 3D space, choreographed the text and animated the camera movement. It gets pretty zany at the end, so enjoy!

Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol

Winnie The Pooh “Promise You Won’t Forget Me”

Dave directed this video for the new Winnie The Pooh movie. Dave and James animated dialogue from the classic 1977 Disney film The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh. Dave painted using real watercolors, scanned them into the computer, positioned the text, and animated 3D camera movement. Enjoy!

Because of its popularity, Dave got to make a second Pooh Watercolor video!

Yeehaw! Scott Gairdner asked Ghostlight for some help on his latest Funny Or Die video “Roller Coaster Saftety with Patrick Warburton.” James was the Director of Photography, so insert cowboy shootin’ pun here. Though Scott did all the ride graphics, Ghostlight provided invisible Visual Effects including monitor placement, dolly rig removal, boom mic removal, and crew reflection removal. Adventures of the Blue Sword

We did the Cinematography and film look for Adventures of the Blue Sword, which Chris Cantwell directed for the Channel 101 show Everything. James shot on the RED Camera and approximated the look of 1949 Technicolor film. We also added grain, dust, scratches, weave, tape splices, and thumbprints. Thanks to everybody involved!
