This is the last video Dave directed for Disney, which promotes the new Winnie The Pooh movie! Dave, along with fellow DigiSynd employees, made a bunch of watercolor paintings, which were scanned into the computer. Dave arranged them in 3D space, choreographed the text and animated the camera movement. It gets pretty zany at the end, so enjoy!

Winnie The Pooh “Promise You Won’t Forget Me”

Dave directed this video for the new Winnie The Pooh movie. Dave and James animated dialogue from the classic 1977 Disney film The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh. Dave painted using real watercolors, scanned them into the computer, positioned the text, and animated 3D camera movement. Enjoy!

Because of its popularity, Dave got to make a second Pooh Watercolor video!

Exterminator 3D

Break.com asked us to make this short horror film to promote Saw 3D. Click the image to watch our 2D version. To watch in 3D, click here and go to “Scar3d”. Break.com wanted something where an exterminator is killed by traps. Dave wrote and directed. James was the Director of Photography. No time for 3D VFX, so we did it all in-camera.

WARNING: this is really violent and bloody!

Dave wrote and directed this bad horror scene for Hesley Harps‘ acting reel. Also starring Will McFadden, Sean Bury, and Brad Conlin. James was the Cinematographer and shot on the RED camera.

Apple i

We made this “Apple i” commercial for a College Humor sketch, which parodies Steve Jobs’ product presentations. We built the Apple i in 3D to match College Humor’s prop. For the dancers, we filmed buddies from Invisible Engine and DigiSynd on a green screen. Music by Alfred Montejano.
